SCENTED GERANIUMS

SCENTED GERANIUMS are grown for their unique quality and ornamental leaves. They tend to be fast growing and highly tolerant of certain soils, cold, sun and shade. Their is most fragrance by either splashing some water on them or stroking their leaves. They make a great Summer plant in the garden but make sure they are not planted, when too cold !!

Scented Geraniums can range from 12 inches tall to 36 inches. They perform well with other landscape plants to add color and texture. Although they are not considered to be a ‘true’ perennial, some have been known to return in the Spring.

When planting in a container, use a high-quality soil with texture and organic fertilizer. When transplanting to the garden, make sure its well watered before removing. Dig a hole deep enough to enable root and leaf growth. WATER WELL !!!!

When weather is humid, and plants are crowded .. white flies and fungus can be an issue. Make sure proper space is considered, adequete sun and air movement to keep insects away.
